TigerUX is hiring for an accounting leadership role in the Philippines. You will oversee daily accounting operations, including the general ledger, AP, AR, expenses, and capital expenditures, while ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.

The position emphasizes strong analytical skills, regulatory knowledge, and effective communication in a fast-paced environment. Collaboration with tax and financial teams is essential for quarterly closings and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy is required.
• CPA license is an advantage.
• 2–5 years of accounting experience, including 1–2 years in a leadership role.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting activities, including the general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, operating expenses, and capital expenditures.
• Ensure accurate recording, reporting, and analysis of financial transactions.
• Maintain and enforce accounting policies, controls, and procedures.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements, including P&L and Balance Sheet reports.
• Investigate and resolve accounting variances and discrepancies.
• Support tax compliance and related reporting requirements.
• Contribute to process enhancement and operational improvement initiatives.
• Assist in budget planning, forecasting, and financial monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while maintaining financial data accuracy and integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy required.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is an advantage.
• 2 to 5 years of accounting experience, including at least 1 to 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and relevant laws and regulations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and deadline-driven.
• Self-motivated, resilient, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have experience in Large-scale food retail or FMCG industry.
