Job summary

TigerUX in the Philippines seeks a seasoned accounting professional to manage daily accounting activities, ensure accurate reporting, and uphold strong controls. You will lead a small team, review P&L and balance sheets, and support budgeting and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in Accountancy, CPA is a plus, with 2–5 years of accounting experience including leadership, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy is required.
• CPA license is an advantage for the role.
• 2–5 years of accounting experience, including 1–2 years in a leadership/supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and relevant laws.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting activities including general ledger, A/P and A/R, expenses, and capex.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements (P&L and Balance Sheet).
• Ensure accurate recording, reporting, and analysis of financial transactions.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting activities, including the general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, operating expenses, and capital expenditures.
• Ensure accurate recording, reporting, and analysis of financial transactions.
• Maintain and enforce accounting policies, controls, and procedures.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements, including P&L and Balance Sheet reports.
• Investigate and resolve accounting variances and discrepancies.
• Support tax compliance and related reporting requirements.
• Contribute to process enhancement and operational improvement initiatives.
• Assist in budget planning, forecasting, and financial monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while maintaining financial data accuracy and integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy required.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is an advantage.
• 2 to 5 years of accounting experience, including at least 1 to 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and relevant laws and regulations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and deadline-driven.
• Self-motivated, resilient, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have experience in Large-scale food retail or FMCG industry.
