Job summary

CM & SONS FOOD PRODUCTS INC. (Merzci) is seeking an experienced Head of Accounting & Finance to lead multiple units.

The role demands strong financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting and internal controls within a fast-paced food business. The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years in accounting with at least 5 in a managerial role, plus expertise in Philippine accounting standards and BIR regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related business discipline.
• 5–8 years progressive accounting and finance experience with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in retail, food manufacturing, FMCG, distribution or multi-branch business preferred.
• Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, inventory control, cash-flow, taxation, and internal controls.
• Knowledge of Philippine accounting standards, BIR regulations and statutory compliance.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management with strategic initiatives.
• High integrity, accuracy, confidentiality, and accountability.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, multi-product, multi-outlet environment.
• Hands-on, proactive, and willing to lead the Accounting and Audit team.
• Willing to work in Villamonte, Bacolod City and coordinate with Merzci units.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Accounting and Audit team with hands-on guidance.
• Ensure robust financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting.
• Oversee inventory control, cash-flow management, taxation and internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with Philippine standards and BIR regulations.
• Drive strategic finance initiatives across Merzci units.
