Job summary

Kia Mexico is seeking a Finance Manager to lead financial operations, ensure accurate reporting, and drive budgeting and forecasting processes. The role partners with cross-functional teams to strengthen controls and support strategic decisions across the organization.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in finance, solid IFRS knowledge, ERP experience (SAP preferred), and advanced Excel skills. An MBA, CPA, or CFA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Financial Planning, Audit, or related areas.
• Experience leading teams and managing financial operations.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills.
• MBA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
• Monitor and analyze company financial performance against the approved Business Plan and budget.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and executive presentations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, K-SOX requirements, and corporate policies.
• Coordinate audits and serve as the primary contact for external auditors and regulatory authorities.
• Develop, manage, and control departmental budgets and financial forecasts.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and operational efficiency.
• Support business units by providing financial analysis and strategic recommendations.
• Manage cash flow planning and monitor financial risks.
• Lead, develop, and mentor the finance team to achieve operational excellence.
