Job summary

Dayon Group Inc. is seeking an experienced accounting professional to monitor day-to-day financial operations, prepare and analyze financial statements, and ensure compliance with BIR, SEC, and government remittances.

The role involves reconciliation and settlement work, payroll processing, and collaboration with senior management. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy/Finance (CPA preferred) with 3–4 years of relevant experience, including familiarity with gaming industry

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy/Finance or equivalent.
  • CPA preferred.
  • 3-4 years of extensive work experience with general accounting, financial statements, BIR/Tax compliance, SEC and government remittances and payroll.
  • Extensive experience in reconciliation and settlement operations, especially on eload distribution and digital products.
  • Extensive accounting experience in gaming industry.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy; able to work independently.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and other spreadsheet programs.

Responsibilities

  • Handle general accounting tasks including bookkeeping, financial statement preparation and analysis, BIR/Tax compliance, SEC and government remittances, and payroll.
  • Perform reconciliation and settlement operations; maintain accuracy of vouchers, journals, ledgers, and bank records.
  • Process daily financial transactions: verify, post AR/AP data.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements; consolidate reports for upper management.
  • Organize ad-hoc activities and support other duties as assigned.

About the role

Monitor the day-to-day financial operations of the companies. Provide financial reports, interpret financial information and recommend further courses of action to upper management.

Key responsibilities
  • Handle general accounting tasks including bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, financial statement analysis, BIR/Tax Compliance, SEC and Government Remittances, and Payroll
  • Handle reconciliation and settlement operations
  • Maintain timely reconciliation and accuracy of accounting entries for vouchers, cash disbursements and cash receipts, journals, ledgers, bank, inventory control, clearing, billings and logs detailing financial business transactions
  • Perform daily financial transactions such as verifying, calculating and posting accounts receivable and accounts payable data
  • Manage and reconcile multiple reports especially financial statements, facilitate bank transactions, record and sort disbursements and create settlement reports from merchants and other various companies
  • Organize and action ad-hoc activities
  • Perform other duties which may be assigned from time to time
About you
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy/Finance or equivalent
  • Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Preferably with auditing firm experience
  • At least 3-4 years of extensive work experience with full knowledge in general accounting, preparation of financial statements, financial statement analysis/reporting, BIR/Tax Compliance, SEC and Government Remittances and Payroll
  • Extensive work experience in reconciliation and settlement operations especially on eload distribution and digital products
  • Extensive accounting experience in gaming industry
  • Highly organized with keen attention to details, high degree of accuracy and confidentiality; creative, self-disciplined and capable of identifying and completing critical tasks independently and with a sense of urgency
  • Proficient and excellent in using Microsoft Applications especially Excel and spreadsheet programs
  • Strong analytical skills, problem solving and decision making
  • Working knowledge of all accounting-related legislation and regulations
