- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Monitor financial performance by analyzing actual results vs. budget and forecasts.
- Ensure timely submission of reports to management and external stakeholders.
- Manage general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing.
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead the annual budgeting process in coordination with department heads.
- Prepare financial forecasts and cash flow projections.
- Identify variances and recommend corrective actions.
Strategic Financial Planning
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business growth.
- Assist in evaluating new investments, pricing models, and cost-reduction strategies.
Regulatory Compliance & Audits
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, government regulations (e.g., BIR, SEC, DOLE).
- Coordinate internal and external audits; prepare all necessary documentation.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting policies and legal regulations.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
- Ensure the finance team meets deadlines and maintains accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and trainings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
- Minimum 5 years experience in accounting or financial management.
- Background in [insert industry, e.g., retail, manufacturing, services] is a plus.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
