About the role
The Finance Manager oversees the organization's financial health, managing day-to-day operations while driving strategic financial planning. Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, risk management, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities
Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term strategic financial modeling
Track financial performance against business targets and analyze variance drivers
Conduct feasibility analysis and strategic modeling for capital investments or new initiatives
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes
Prepare accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with local standard accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS)
Manage working capital, cash flows, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and payroll functions
Ensure full compliance with tax laws, statutory obligations, and internal control policies
Coordinate with internal and external auditors during annual audits
Identify financial risks (credit, market, operational) and establish mitigation controls
Direct and mentor junior accountants, financial analysts, and support staff
