Job summary

Sodarizer is seeking a Finance Controller to be the trusted financial partner to the founders. This role owns financial reporting, cashflow analysis, and supports leadership in making data-driven decisions about growth and profitability.

You'll lead reporting, monitor cashflow, oversee budgeting and cost control, and coordinate with a bookkeeper and external accountants. The position is Onsite or Hybrid in Pasig City, Metro Manila, with a salary range of ₱40,000 - ₱80,000 per month and HMO

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in financial reporting, cashflow forecasting, budgeting and cost/expense analysis for SMEs.
• Experience coordinating with bookkeepers and external accountants for tax/compliance.
• Comfortable reporting to founders or senior leadership in an SME, especially in e-commerce/retail/food & beverage.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills and ability to build decision-ready reports.
• Detail-oriented with ability to explain numbers clearly to non-finance leaders.

What youll do

• Lead financial reporting and management reports, giving leadership clear visibility on performance.
• Monitor and forecast cashflow, highlight risks and opportunities, and help plan for healthy working capital.
• Oversee budgeting, cost control, and expense analysis to support profitability and disciplined spending.
• Supervise payroll at a control level and work closely with the internal bookkeeper.
• Coordinate with the external accounting team on tax and government compliance.
• Handle month-end and management reporting, creating dashboards and summaries founders can act on.
• Act as a financial gatekeeper-raising flags, asking hard questions, and guiding where to invest or pull back.

What were looking for

• Hands-on experience in financial reporting, cashflow forecasting, budgeting, and cost/expense analysis for small to medium-sized companies.
• Experience managing or coordinating with bookkeepers and external accountants for tax and compliance.
• Comfortable operating close to founders or senior leadership in an SME, ideally in e-commerce, retail, or food & beverage.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills, with the ability to build clear, decision-ready reports and summaries.
• High attention to detail and the ability to tell the story behind the numbers in simple, clear language.
• Able to explain financial concepts to non-finance leaders and give practical recommendations, not just data.

CPA or similar qualification, plus experience in fast-growing or founder-led businesses, is a strong advantage but not strictly required.

Work setup, salary, and benefits

• Arrangement: Onsite or Hybrid.
• Level: Mid-level management, reporting directly to the founders and overseeing an internal bookkeeper and external accounting team.
• Salary range: ₱40,000 - ₱80,000 per month, with flexibility upward for exceptional candidates.
