Job summary

Magnum RFM Ice Cream, Inc. (MRIC) in Pasig, Philippines, seeks a qualified accountant to provide expert guidance on local statutory and regulatory requirements impacting key Finance processes, including revenue recognition, tax, and accounts receivable, with a focus on Supply Chain finance.

You will ensure alignment to the global template, identify exceptions or localisations in Local Design workshops, and coordinate localisation requests with the global design team and local SMEs.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant or equivalent experience in finance.
• Strong knowledge of local statutory and regulatory finance frameworks.
• Experience with product costing and inventory valuation.
• Familiarity with SAP and local finance systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on local statutory/regulatory requirements affecting finance processes.
• Ensure alignment to the global template and identify exceptions or localisations in Local Design workshops.
• Act as the single point for requesting and coordinating any finance-related localisations requests; route exceptions to the global design team.
• Coordinate with local SMEs to ensure all local finance compliance needs are captured and aligned with the global design.
• Participate in UAT testing for local statutory and controllership processes and support Hypercare issue resolution.
• Align with the Wave Finance team for statutory decisions, including Supply Chain Finance.
• Consolidate and raise requirements or statutory needs to the Supply Chain & Direct Procurement Lead for potential localisation.
• Provide light-touch support during system integration testing; participate in UAT for supply chain finance scenarios; provide light-touch go-live and Hypercare support.
