Qualifications

• Degree in accounting/finance; CPA license
• 15+ years in finance, last 5 as Finance Manager or last 3 as Controller
• Experience in distribution/trading/services; construction-related
• Strong understanding of sales office business and corporate processes
• Proficiency in FP&A, accounting, tax, treasury, internal controls, credit & debt management

About the role

This position is responsible for managing the activities within Finance function. The position will report directly to Finance Leader, Territory North and Southeast Asia (TNSA).

The Role

In this role, you will serve as a strategic finance business partner to the organization, working closely with business leaders to provide financial advice, insights, and guidance that support decision-making and drive profitable, sustainable growth. You will lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis activities, while overseeing cost management, credit and collections, financial controls, reporting, and compliance. You will also identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and strengthen finance capabilities, ensuring the business achieves its financial objectives while remaining aligned with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance, Accountancy, or equivalent business course, licensed CPA
• Minimum of 15 years work experience with last 5 years as Finance Manager or last 3 years as Controller
• Preferred industry experience in distribution, trading and services; related to construction
• Strong understanding of sales office business, commercial operations and corporate processes
• Solid understanding of business systems in terms of leveraging these systems to enhance functional efficiencies
• High ability on financial strategy, including risk minimization and opportunity forecasting
• High level financial reporting and analysis; with background in FP&A, accounting, tax, treasury, internal control and credit and debt management
• Ability to work well and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to thrive in a team environment and effectively communicate and collaborate across the organization
