Job summary

LUXASIA Retail Corporation is seeking a senior finance leader to oversee the entire accounting operations, ensuring complete, accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions. You will drive month-end, quarter-end and year-end closes, monitor SAP HANA B1 and other systems, and guide budgeting and forecasting with a focus on strong controls.

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance or related field.
• 8–10+ years in Finance/Accounting with managerial or supervisory experience.
• CPA qualification preferred; SAP HANA B1 experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall accounting operations ensuring complete, accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities and ensure compliance with reporting timelines.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports and financial schedules.
• Ensure proper accounting treatment and reconciliation of balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Monitor the accuracy and integrity of financial data in SAP and other finance systems.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to Management to support business decisions.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory and general ledger activities and controls.
• Monitor customer collections, vendor payments and working capital.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Oversee cash flow planning, liquidity and treasury-related activities.
• Establish and maintain financial and accounting controls; coordinate internal and external audits.
• Lead finance systems enhancements, automation, process improvements and master-data management.
• Manage third-party finance service providers and monitor SLAs.
• Coordinate with Group Finance and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Lead, coach and develop the Finance team.

• Oversee month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities and ensure compliance with reporting timelines
• Prepare financial statements, management reports and financial schedules
• Ensure proper accounting treatment and reconciliation of balance sheet and income statement accounts
• Monitor the accuracy and integrity of financial data in SAP and other finance systems
• Provide financial analysis and insights to Management to support business decisions
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory and general ledger activities and controls

• Ensure timely preparation and filing of tax returns and reports, including EWT, CWT and VAT
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
• Oversee cash flow planning, liquidity and treasury-related activities
• Establish and maintain financial and accounting controls; coordinate internal and external audits
• Lead finance systems enhancements, automation, process improvements and master-data management
• Manage third-party finance service providers and monitor SLAs
• Coordinate with Group Finance and cross-functional stakeholders
• Lead, coach and develop the Finance team

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related field
• At least 8–10 years of progressive experience in Finance and Accounting, with experience in a managerial or supervisory role
• Strong experience in financial accounting, reporting, taxation, budgeting and financial controls
• Experience managing end-to-end accounting operations
• CPA qualification is preferred
• Experience in SAP HANA B1 is strongly preferred
• Experience in a multinational, retail, distribution or FMCG/consumer business environment is an advantage
