Job summary

Qualifications

• College degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
• Requires one to three years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with Yardi, MRI, or other real estate accounting software preferred; Strong MS Office Proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform Full Cycle Accounting including analysis of accounts, cash management, AP and AR, accruals and reconciliations.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reporting packages for multiple clients in line with internal controls.
• Communicate complex accounting issues with clients and property management in a timely manner.
• Apply procedures for preparation of accounting records and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and assist management with issues.
• Prepare and review fixed asset ledgers for capitalization and depreciation; calculate straight-line rent as needed.
• Provide audit support with required documentation and information.
• Coach accounting staff, lead team meetings, and assist with onboarding on new assignments.
• Perform other related duties as required.
