Job summary

The Magnum Ice Cream Company is seeking a highly driven Finance Partner to own end-to-end materials forecasting and support finance operations for quarterly inventory counts. You will drive accurate financial planning, strong controls, and meaningful analysis for supply chain decisions.

You will lead monthly forecasts (weekly cycles), prepare balance reports, review actuals vs forecast, and ensure alignment of the Operating Plan across depots and warehouses, while upholding audit standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.
• Working knowledge of SAP and understanding of key finance and supply chain processes.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret trends and challenge variances.
• Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Materials Forecasting & Analysis.
• Lead the monthly end-to-end forecasting of materials during FC (Forecast Cycle) – every Week 1 and LV (Latest View) – every Week 3.
• Prepare expected balance reports and post judgmental journal entries as needed during Month-End Close (MEC).
• Deliver clear and meaningful analysis on actuals vs. forecast, including risks and opportunities.
• Manage the quarterly Operating Plan (OP) cycle, ensuring alignment and accuracy.
• Wall-to-Wall Inventory Count (W2W) Finance Champion – act as the Finance POC for depots and warehouses during quarterly W2W counts and lead the review, validation, and consolidation of W2W documentation.
• Perform PID (Physical Inventory Difference) adjustments, supported by proper review and documentation.
• Provide support in finance operations, reporting, analysis, and process improvements as needed.

The role

We are seeking a highly driven and detail-oriented Finance Partner responsible for end-to-end materials forecasting and supporting finance operations for quarterly wall-to-wall (W2W) inventory counts. This role ensures accurate financial planning, strong operational controls, and meaningful analysis that helps drive supply chain decision-making.

What you'll be responsible for

• Materials Forecasting & Analysis
• Lead the monthly end-to-end forecasting of materials during:
  • FC (Forecast Cycle) – every Week 1
  • LV (Latest View) – every Week 3
• Prepare expected balance reports and post judgmental journal entries as needed during Month-End Close (MEC).

• Other Responsibilities
  • Provide support in finance operations, reporting, analysis, and process improvements as needed.
  • Perform other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time to support overall finance and supply chain requirements.

What you bring
