Chong Hua Hospital is looking to hire an experienced and highly motivated Finance Analyst who is responsible for analyzing and controlling various costs related to the Department/Unit’s direct and indirect expenses. This position also presents this information to management to aid in determining profit and loss, as well as reports financial status by preparing and analyzing financial plans and forecasts.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Translate ERP detailed information and utilize advanced spreadsheet reporting tools to enhance and simplify analysis;
• Investigate variances that arise from financial activity, determine causes, and resolve discrepancies to ensure accuracy of financial reporting and analysis as well as work with Unit heads to drive business results;
• Develop detailed explanation for variances between actual and plan monthly for assigned business units;
• Assist in the preparation of Unit's planning/budgeting process and analysis reports;
• Ensure all budget holders understand the financial information they receive every month and answer questions they may have;
• As required, educate Unit Heads in understanding key financial concepts and good cost management practices;
• Provide information to management by assembling and summarizing data; preparing presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations;
• Assist in the implementation of the processes and procedures to improve financial controls;

Qualifications

• A graduate of bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or any related field;
• With at least three (3) years of relevant work experience in accounting management, and audit;
• Healthcare industry experience is a plus;
• Strong analytical skills and sound understanding of accounting principles;
• Demonstrated understanding of basic corporate office software, including Microsoft Office 365 applications;
• Effective communication skills. Proficiency in the Visayan dialect and/or Tagalog is required; ability to communicate well in English is an advantage.
