Qualifications

• 8-12 years of experience in Finance and Accounting.
• Exposure to Cost Accounting, Financial Systems, Finance Audit, General Accounting, and Account Reconciliation.
• Experience in wireless/high tech/manufacturing/insurance industries.
• Experience working in complex, data-rich, global organizations.
• Strong working knowledge of AI/ML and automation in Finance.
• Proficiency with Python, SQL, Power BI/Tableau, and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Drive AI-enabled Finance Transformation by identifying and prioritizing AI/analytics use cases with measurable outcomes.
• Collaborate with Data Analytics, IT and Finance Systems teams to design and implement AI-driven solutions.
• Strengthen decision support through predictive analytics, forecasting, variance analysis, and scenario modeling.
• Ensure governance and compliance with data controls, model governance, and audit readiness.
• Enable adoption and capability building; upskill teams in data-driven decision making.
• Provide operational and ad hoc strategic support to ASC leadership in finance initiatives.

The Finance AI Lead is responsible for driving the practical application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) across Finance. This role bridges deep finance domain expertise with advanced analytics, automation, and AI technologies to enhance decision making, improve efficiency, and unlock new insights across financial processes. This position partners closely with Finance leadership, Data/AI teams, IT, and business stakeholders to identify high value AI use cases, design scalable solutions, and ensure strong governance and financial accuracy. The role is hands on, strategic, and outcome driven, serving as a thought leader and execution lead in the Finance AI transformation.

Key Accountabilities

• Drive AI-Enabled Finance Transformation: Identify and prioritize AI/analytics use cases across Asurion Finance (forecasting, claims cost optimization, revenue insights, and reporting automation), building clear business cases and measurable outcomes.
• Partner for Solution Delivery: Collaborate with Data Analytics, IT and Finance Systems teams to design, validate, and implement scalable, AI-driven solutions aligned to Asurion's operational and financial environment.
• Strengthen Decision Support: Leverage predictive analytics to enhance forecasting accuracy, variance analysis, scenario modeling, and management reporting; translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations for Finance and business leaders.
• Ensure Governance & Compliance: Uphold strong data governance, model controls, and audit readiness for AI solutions, ensuring alignment with Asurion's internal controls, regulatory standards, and risk frameworks.
• Enable Adoption & Capability Building: Act as a trusted Finance advisor on AI, influencing cross-functional stakeholders and upskilling teams in data-driven decision-making and new digital ways of working.
• Operational & Ad Hoc Support: Support ASC leadership with strategic analysis, reporting, and high-impact Finance initiatives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Education

Degree in Finance & Accounting

Experiences, Skillsets & Personal Competencies

• 8 - 12 years overall experience in Finance and Accounting
• Exposure in the following is preferred: Cost Accounting, Financial Systems Understanding, Finance Audit, General Accounting, Account Reconciliation, Finance Transformation and Strategy
• Experience in the wireless, high tech, manufacturing, or insurance industry
• Experience working in complex, data rich, or matrixed global organizations.
• Strong working knowledge of AI/ML, advanced analytics, and automation concepts as applied to Finance.
• Experience with tools such as Python, SQL, Power BI/Tableau, advanced Excel, or finance analytics platforms (hands on or close partnership with technical teams). Background in Finance transformation, digital finance, or data driven decision support roles.
