As a Finance Administrator – Royalties, you'll join a dynamic Finance Operations team supporting authors, editors, and agents globally. You'll be part of a mission-driven organisation that values accuracy, service, and innovation, while contributing directly to the smooth and timely payment of royalties and upholding our high standards of author service.
You will also be expected to:
Manage and maintain accurate royalty and author data across financial systems
Process author contracts, tax records, and payments in line with compliance standards
Prepare and execute timely royalty payments, including advances and recurring earnings
Respond to author and stakeholder queries with professionalism and efficiency
Support royalty calculation cycles and contribute to process improvement initiatives
You're an ideal candidate if you are:
Detail-oriented, customer-focused, and experienced in handling financial data and resolving complex queries
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Power BI) with strong communication skills in English
Familiar with financial and royalty processes, including contracts, taxation, and compliance
Comfortable using or learning tools like SAP, FileMaker, Jira, and Ironclad
Aware of key regulations such as GDPR, anti-bribery laws, and international tax rules
