Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day Finance and Accounting Operations of the bank.
• Ensure timely preparation of financial statements, management reports, regulatory reports, and other financial disclosures.
• Oversee General Ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, month-end and year-end closing.
• Manage cash management, treasury operations, liquidity, and bank relationships.
• Ensure compliance with BSP regulations, banking compliance requirements, and internal policies.
• Establish, implement, and continuously improve financial controls, accounting policies, procedures, and operational processes.
• Review financial performance, analyze variances, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and financial analysis.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and assist in regulatory examinations and financial reviews.
• Identify financial and operational risks and implement mitigation and control measures.
• Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and security of financial data and accounting records.
• Drive process improvement, automation, and digitalization initiatives within Finance and Accounting Operations.
• Work closely with Operations, Risk, Compliance, Treasury, Internal Audit, and other departments to ensure seamless financial processes.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with banking partners, regulators, auditors, and other financial stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance and Accounting team, ensuring strong performance and adherence to operational standards.
• Provide strategic recommendations to senior management on financial performance, operational efficiency, cost management, and business decisions.

• Strong experience in banking finance and accounting operations.

• Solid knowledge of financial reporting, financial controls, treasury, cash management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

• Strong understanding of BSP regulations, banking compliance requirements, and applicable accounting and financial reporting standards.

• Proven experience managing and leading Finance/Accounting teams.

• Experience working with internal and external auditors, regulators, and senior management.

• Strong knowledge of accounting systems, ERP platforms, and financial reporting tools.

• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, organizational, and decision‑making skills.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

• High level of integrity, confidentiality, accuracy, and accountability.

• Amenable to work onsite in Capitol Head Office Cebu
