Job summary

SD Solutions I.T. Outsourcing, Inc. in Metro Manila seeks an experienced Finance and Accounting Manager to ensure timely and accurate financial statements while mentoring junior staff. The role requires overseeing reporting cycles, ensuring tax compliance for BIR and LGU, and maintaining SOPs to mitigate risks.

The ideal candidate will lead a team, drive adherence to internal controls, and prepare both recurring and ad hoc reports to support management and departments.

Qualifications

• BS Accounting graduate or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in related field.
• Knowledgeable of accounting processes and tax compliance.
• Good at meeting deadlines and solving problems.
• Commendable oral and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership and personnel management skills.
• Analytical skills with detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor accurate and timely recording and invoicing of sales, purchases and expenses.
• Ensure reports for daily, monthly, quarterly and annual compliance are submitted on time.
• Ensure timely reporting of tax for BIR and LGU compliance.
• Ensure management's financial assertions are reflected in the accounting records and ledgers.
• Assist the Accounting Officer in keeping SOPs up to date and mitigating risks.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports to support departments.
• Lead ad-hoc tasks/projects as needed.
• Oversee tax compliance.
• Ensure payables are settled timely and accurately.
• Ensure revenue is recorded correctly.
• Ensure payroll and accounting transactions are processed timely.
• Support policy implementation and staff development.
