Job summary

QBE Group Shared Services Centre in Metro Manila seeks a seasoned finance professional to lead financial accounting, close, reporting, and reconciliation processes, ensuring timely and compliant financial information. The role covers statutory and sustainability reporting, audits, vendor card administration, and serves as a Finance SME for vendor health assessments.

Candidates should be a CPA with strong risk management and internal control knowledge; prior audit experience is favored;

Qualifications

• CPA with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Audit experience (2+ years) preferred.
• MS Office proficiency; Oracle ERP and Hyperion FM preferred.
• Strong knowledge of risk management and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day financial accounting: GL, journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, month-end close.
• Manage month-, quarter-, and year-end close processes to meet timelines.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations and resolve recon items promptly.
• Ensure accuracy and proper supporting documentation for accounting entries.
• Prepare financial reports, analyses, and sustainability reports per standards and internal requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors and stakeholders for statutory reporting and audits.
