Job summary

Sealed Air Talent seeks a seasoned finance professional for its Shared Services Center in Metro Manila. The role supports General Ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting across regional entities with SAP, OneStream, and BlackLine workflows. Strong attention to controls and audits is essential.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in GL/accounting within SSC/GBS environments, a CPA/CA/ACCA is preferred, and proficiency in SAP (B1), OneStream, BlackLine, and Excel is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance shared services or SSC/GBS environments.
• Experience with finance transformation or centralization projects.
• Knowledge of Financial Control/Record-to-Report in a shared services setup.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end close activities for Singapore & Vietnam in compliance with policies and SOX.
• Perform General Ledger accounting including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and close activities.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations, P&L results, and variances for accuracy.
• Oversee AP/AR operations, aging reviews, intercompany reconciliations, and collections.
• Support statutory reporting, GST/VAT compliance, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage month-end close activities in Singapore & Vietnam, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, accounting standards, and SOX requirements.
• Perform General Ledger accounting, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations, profit and loss results, and financial variances to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Oversee AP and AR operations, including aging reviews, accruals, intercompany reconciliations, payment approvals, customer collections, and issue resolution.
• Support financial reporting through SAP, OneStream, BlackLine, and other finance systems, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
• Coordinate statutory financial reporting, annual tax filings, GST/VAT compliance, and other regulatory requirements for assigned entities.
• Lead and support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, responding to audit requests, and ensuring timely closure of audit findings.
• Execute and maintain SOX and internal control activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Support treasury activities, including payment authorizations, banking controls, and cash flow planning.
• Maintain accurate accounting for fixed assets, inventory, rebates, and other balance sheet accounts.
• Support inventory accounting, inventory management, and inventory controls, including inventory reconciliations, inventory aging reviews, standard cost updates, and annual physical inventory counts.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in finance shared services, Global Business Services (GBS), or SSC environments.
• Proven experience supporting finance transformation, process migrations, or centralization projects.
• Demonstrated experience transitioning Financial Control or Record-to-Report (R2R) activities into a shared services organization.
• Strong understanding of financial controls, governance, standardization, and process documentation.
• Experience working across multiple countries and legal entities is highly desirable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in General Ledger accounting, financial reporting, or Shared Services.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP -> B1 version), OneStream, BlackLine, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of financial close, internal controls, statutory reporting, tax compliance, and audit processes.
