Job summary

Enza Zaden seeks a Trial Specialist in the Philippines to bring breeding efforts to life through high-quality trials and data collection. You will manage trial locations and collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Breeding to plan screening trials.

You’ll be responsible for organization, registration and evaluation of screening trials, ensuring quality and phytosanitary compliance, and timely reporting to stakeholders across Commercial and Breeding teams.

Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science or related course.
• are experienced and knowledgeable of the assigned crop.
• Able to work in South Luzon are;
• Affinity with crop cultivation and growers;
• Proficient in English language and the local language, Philippines, both written and verbal;
• Communicate clearly;
• Are detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple trial locations.

Responsibilities

• Execution of a local trial plan.
• Planning and organization of screening trials in cooperation with Breeding including selection of external screening locations and organization of seed samples.
• Administration, collection and evaluation of trial data in Enza Zaden administration systems and formats.
• Responsible for following the relevant protocols of the 3rd parties in order to guarantee local quality and phytosanitary compliance of the trials.
• Timely reporting of results of research and commercial variety trials to various stakeholders within the Commercial and Breeding organization.
