Productivity Specialists Team Labor Service Cooperative (Prospect Coop) is seeking a Field Technician to support agronomists in Northern and Luzon areas. The on-site role in Tarlac involves coordinating field crews, certifying seed field isolation, and monitoring crop emergence.

The candidate should be a graduate in Agriculture or related field with driving skills for motorcycle and four-wheel vehicles, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Agriculture, Agribusiness or related courses.
• Must have driving skills for motorcycle and 4-wheels.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willing to travel long term.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to Agronomists in daily activities.
• Schedules daily activities of field crews and prepares time records.
• Assists Field Agronomists in certifying seed field isolation before/after planting.
• Monitors planting with at least 95% emergence.
• Ensures irrigation schedules are implemented before planting and during fertilization stages.
• Oversees application of pesticides and fertilizers as scheduled.
• Leads crew in rouging, cleanup and hand pollination as needed.
• Organizes, trains, deploys and evaluates detasselers.
• Assigns harvesters and dispatches haulers.
• Collects agronomic and quality data.
• Assists Agronomists in ISO records.
