Your Role
As a Field Support Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing all phases of utility construction for various types of telecom projects. You will assist a team of construction professionals to produce high‑quality work in a safety‑minded environment, ensuring deliverables meet company, client, and industry standards.
In Addition, You Will
- Manage Pre‑Construction Tasks: Ensure all UDFs are current, participate in the Ops Team sign‑off, and submit any material supplemental changes to Order Management.
- Oversee Daily Construction Activities: Email first‑day work orders to assigned crews, ensure safety documents are uploaded daily, and verify EPL is scanned to the site.
- Coordinate Crew & Network Access: Ensure crews properly manage customer network access (EIM, NFSD, AccuV, etc.) and coordinate approvals for build plan or design changes.
- Facilitate Material & Logistics: Request material supplemental orders, coordinate availability with the warehouse, facilitate timely delivery to crews/sites, and handle WERF/OBF requests when needed.
- Collect Closeout Deliverables: Gather necessary contractor deliverables to ensure timely project closeouts, including tape drops, EH&S, RET worksheets, and required testing reports.
- Troubleshoot & Integrate: Coordinate and communicate integration and troubleshooting efforts between field crews, contractor remote support, and internal teams.
- Track Milestones & Forecasting: Score construction tasks/milestones, assist with rolling 4‑week forecast accuracy, and elevate schedule slippages immediately.
- Utility & Compliance Support: Monitor outage requests, assist Construction Managers (CM) with calling off equipment rentals, follow up on power delivery, and ensure all permits are closed.
What You Need
Non‑negotiables
- 3‑5 years of experience managing telecom construction projects
- Strong knowledge of the telecom construction industry (Coax Splicing, Fiber Splicing, Directional Drilling, map reading, etc.)
- Track record of completing construction projects with a high level of quality and safety
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Excel, and Project) with the ability to quickly learn custom software
- Excellent problem‑solving, troubleshooting, and site management skills
- Strong relationship management skills with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
- Willingness to work 100% onsite in MOA/Parañaque on a graveyard shift
Preferred Skills/expertise
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Construction Management or a related field
- Previous experience handling Tower company deliverables (for SPG)
- Ability to manage long‑term projects with a hands‑on, proactive approach
