Job summary
Philippine Blue Cross Biotech Corporation is seeking a Biomedical/Electrical Engineer to perform preventive maintenance and repair of diagnostic instruments. The role requires meticulous attention to detail and strong mechanical aptitude, with travel across the Philippines and immediate availability.
The successful candidate will conduct inspections, troubleshoot issues, and provide onsite technical support and demonstrations for installed equipment, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical, Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering or related field.
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Extensive experience in preventive maintenance and repair of diagnostic instruments/lab equipment.
- Detail-oriented with strong mechanical aptitude.
- Preferred: valid driver's license (restrictions 1 & 2).
- Willing to travel within the Philippines.
- Available to start immediately.

- Inspect equipment and facilities to ensure safe operation and compliance with regulations.
- Troubleshoot issues discovered during inspections.
- Provide onsite technical support and demonstrations for installed equipment.

Job description
Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, or a related field
With at least one year of relevant working experience
Extensive experience in conducting preventive maintenance and repair of diagnostic instruments/laboratory equipment
Must be detail-oriented and have strong mechanical aptitude
Preferably with a driver's license, restrictions 1 & 2
Must be willing to travel within the Philippines
Can start immediately
Performs inspections on the equipment and the facility to check the proper use of equipment to protect from any hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations
Troubleshoot problems and potential problems discovered during the inspection
Provide product demonstrations, onsite technical support, or troubleshooting for installed equipment
