Job summary

Black & Veatch Family of Companies is seeking a Field QC / Inspector to identify and initiate complex site inspections, ensuring adherence to codes and project specifications. You will monitor schedules and costs while guiding QC staff and aligning with project teams on quality expectations.

The role requires reviewing welding documentation, supporting Non-Conformance processes, and promoting safety and corporate programs across the site. A background in construction QC is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or geographical equivalent qualification preferred.
• Engineering or Construction related discipline degree or craft apprenticeship preferred.
• Knowledge of quality standards and practices.
• Reading of Erection Drawings e.g. GA's, P&ID's and Isometrics.

Responsibilities

• Implements and monitors QC policies and standards on site.
• Coordinate with engineers, suppliers, contractors, and field staff to ensure compliance with codes.
• Mentor Field QC staff and report workload to Site QC Manager.
• Conduct quality inspections including NDT where required and review PWHT docs.
