Responsabilités

• Purchase mainly seafood and supplies from wet markets and farms.
• Negotiate prices with vendors for cost efficiency.
• Inspect products to ensure freshness and quality.

• Coordinate with fishermen, farmers, and suppliers for regular supply and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and submit purchase reports, receipts, and inventory records.

Job Summary

The Field Purchaser is responsible for buying fresh produce, meat, seafood, and other goods directly from wet markets and farms. The role ensures that the company receives high-quality products at competitive prices while maintaining strong relationships with vendors and farmers.

Key Responsibilities

• Purchase mainly seafood and other supplies from wet markets, bagsakan, and farms.
• Visit palengke, bagsakan, and farm suppliers daily or as scheduled to check product availability and quality.
• Negotiate prices with vendors to ensure cost efficiency.
• Inspect products to ensure freshness, quality, and proper quantity.
• Coordinate with fishermen, farmers, and suppliers for regular supply and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and submit purchase reports, receipts, and inventory records.
• Monitor market price trends to ensure competitive purchasing.
• Arrange transportation and proper handling of goods to prevent damage or spoilage.
• Maintain good relationships with vendors and farmers.
• Ensure timely delivery of purchased items to the warehouse, kitchen, or store.
