Job summary

The Hans Foundation is hiring a Project Coordinator for the Hans Education – Girls’ Education program, based in UP, with 80% field time. You will work with the Project Manager and Life Education Mentors to ensure quality program delivery and stakeholder coordination.

The role involves partner liaison, community-level outreach, and monitoring of field activities, with a focus on girls’ education and community mobilization. A Master’s degree and 3–5 years of relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, public administration, sociology, education, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in managing/coordinating social development programs.
• Experience in life skills, gender, mentoring, or adolescent girl issues is preferred.
• Ability to lead, coach and guide a team.
• Experience with MIS and data management.
• Fluency in Hindi and English for documentation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute and track Hans Education program implementation in UP office.
• Organizing events and meetings with community, parents, girls and teachers.
• Facilitate procurement per THF policy, timely procurement, and distribution of material support to girls.
• Explore and secure new resources benefiting girls and the program.
• Work with government staff and officials at block/district level for quality delivery.
• Maintain Community-Based Learning Centres (CBLs) and ensure stock registers are updated.
• Assist Life Skill Education Mentors and tutors in running CBLs per SOP.
• Observe Life Skills Education and Career Guidance sessions and feedback loops.
• Identify referrals that align with program objectives and enable girls’ education.
