Job summary

V2X Inc in the Philippines seeks a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to perform field-level overhaul work on chassis group units and support maintenance of wheeled vehicles and material handling equipment.

Under supervision of the Heavy Equipment Mechanic Lead, you will inspect, repair, test, and service systems, follow checklists, and ensure compliance with safety regulations in demanding environments. This role supports LOGCAP operations and requires CAC eligibility and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Experience with repairing and maintaining heavy/light equipment and vehicles powered by internal combustion engines.
• Ability to inspect, service, repair, replace, adjust and test wheeled vehicles and material handling equipment.
• Familiarity with automotive electrical systems including wiring harnesses, starting and charging.
• Apprenticeship or equivalent training in light/heavy automobile repair preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs the full range of repair and modification work on heavy/light equipment and vehicles powered by internal combustion.
• Inspecting, servicing, maintaining, repairing, replacement, adjusting and testing of wheeled vehicles and material handling equipment systems.
• Service automotive electrical systems including wiring harness, and starting and charging.
• Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or needed repairs.
• Test drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic equipment.
• Follow repair procedures and checklists to ensure proper maintenance.
