Job summary

Career Connect is seeking a reliable Liaison Officer to facilitate timely processing of permits, licenses, and regulatory requirements for construction projects. The role requires coordination with government agencies, utility providers, and external stakeholders, with frequent travel and a valid driver's license preferred.

You will manage permit applications, maintain records, represent the company in meetings, ensure regulatory compliance, and support field operations on project sites.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
  • 2+ years as a Liaison Officer or similar role in construction, real estate, engineering, or infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of government processes, permits, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Highly organized with strong documentation and record-keeping abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Process and secure permits, licenses, and clearances from government agencies.
  • Liaise with utility companies and service providers for applications, inspections, and connections.
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure all regulatory requirements are completed on schedule.
  • Monitor status of permit applications and provide updates to management.
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain records of permits, contracts, and government correspondence.
  • Represent the company during meetings with government agencies, clients, and external stakeholders.
