Job summary

RISE Internet in the Philippines is hiring Fiber Optic Technicians to splice fiber optic cables in indoor and outdoor settings, read and maintain splicing schematics, and take precise field notes.

You will be the primary point of contact for faults and on-site customer issues, with travel and after-hours work possible; a valid driver’s license and CFOT/CPCT training are a plus, and a competitive salary is offered.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Familiar with OTDR, Power Meter, VFL, and insertion loss testing.
• Strong documentation skills; proficient in Google Suites or MS Office.
• Good command of written and verbal English.
• Familiar with fiber fusion splicing.
• Experience on GPON networks advantageous.
• International experience and CFOT/CPCT training preferred.
• Holder of a valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Splice fiber optic cables in indoor and outdoor settings and maintain splice schematics.
• Take and maintain accurate splicing and field notes.
• Serve as primary contact during faults and on-site customer issues; escalate as needed.
