We are seeking a Fiber Optic Technician to handle field fiber optic cable installation, splicing, troubleshooting, and site connectivity maintenance across assigned regional locations.

POSITION: Fiber Optic Technician
DEPLOYMENT: Metro Manila / North Luzon / South Luzon (Prioritizing sites near your location!)
WORK SETUP: Field-based / Shifting & On-Call
Perform end-to-end fiber optic cable splicing, termination, testing, and troubleshooting using OTDR and Optical Power Meters
Respond to fiber cuts, network degradation, and signal outages to restore connectivity within target service levels
Conduct site surveys, cable routing, pole climbing, and aerial/underground fiber cabling setup
Maintain accurate cable routing diagrams, fiber splicing logs, and daily field accomplishment reports
Safely operate assigned service vehicles to transport equipment and crew between project sites
Education: Technical/Vocational graduate in Electronics, Telecom, Electrical, or related trade courses
Experience: At least 1‑2 years of hands‑on experience in fiber optic installation, fusion splicing, and cable troubleshooting
Technical Skills: Proficient in OTDR operation, fusion splicer tools, fiber color coding, and power meter readings
Driving: Valid Driver's License with ability to drive Manual Transmission (MT / L300) is required
Certifications: FOA / TESDA Certification in Fiber Optics or Telecom is a strong advantage
Work Setup: Physically fit for field/outdoor work, willing to work shifting schedules, render overtime, and respond to emergency restoration
