Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ of experience in financial services, risk management, compliance, financial crime risk or a related control function
  • Strong organisational and stakeholder coordination skills, with experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a regulated environment
  • Experience supporting financial crime, compliance, risk management or other control functions, including operational enquiries and escalations
  • Experience preparing procedures, governance documentation, management reporting or other compliance related materials
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify gaps, inconsistencies and opportunities for improvement
  • Experience producing reporting, metrics, dashboards and presentations for senior management and governance forums.

Join a high-performing Financial Crime Risk (FCR) Advisory team and play a critical role in protecting our global Commodities and Global Markets (CGM) business. Supporting operations across Australia and Asia, we partner closely with business leaders, risk teams, and compliance professionals to help manage financial crime risk through strong governance, effective oversight, and robust risk management practices.

What role will you play?

You’ll contribute to meaningful work that helps safeguard our organisation, support customer due diligence activities, respond to regulatory and audit requirements, and provide trusted advice on financial crime risk matters. You will be responsible for the governance and operational delivery of our financial crime risk advisory function for CGM focusing on policy and procedure creation and maintenance and the follow through on execution. You will help coordinate relevant policies and procedures within the CGM FCR Advisory team, helping ensure matters are documented, tracked and resolved effectively working with stakeholders from the business, with our enterprise FCR team and with other risk functions including compliance and operational risk.

In addition, you will help coordinate internal audits, regulatory reviews and action tracking activities, helping ensure deliverables are completed on time. You will contribute to governance forums, reporting and quality assurance activities, while maintaining procedures and operational documentation. You will also identify recurring themes and opportunities to improve processes, consistency and efficiency across the function. Your work will help ensure our team operates effectively, meets governance obligations and delivers a high standard of risk management support.
