The role focuses on pipeline design, data modeling, and collaboration with analysts and stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions and insights.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as Analytics Engineer or in a similar role.
Proficient in SQL and Python.
Advanced knowledge of PowerBI (Power Query and DAX).
4+ years of experience with pipeline automation tools (Fivetran a plus).
Strong knowledge of DBT or other ELT frameworks/tools (Apache Airflow).
Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable data pipelines using ELT tools and frameworks (DBT or similar).
Automate data ingestion from databases, APIs, and third-party services.
Design data warehousing solutions (Snowflake or similar) and optimize storage for performance and cost.
Develop and maintain logical/physical data models; create star/snowflake schemas.
Transform raw data into analytics-ready datasets using SQL, Python, or similar languages.

Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and construct gold/semantic level data models from mart and staging layers. Building data pipelines, provide SME to team members on semantic layer, construct DBT models from scratch for automation

Responsibilities

Pipeline Design and Development; Architects and builds scalable data pipelines using modern ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) tools and frameworks such as DBT (Data Build Tool), or similar.
Automates data ingestion processes from various sources including databases, APIs, and third party services.
Data Storage and Management - Designs and implements data warehousing solutions using platforms like Snowflake
Optimizes storage solutions for performance, cost efficiency, and scalability.
Data Modeling - Develops and maintains logical and physical data models to support business analytics.
Creates and manages dimensional models, star/snowflake schemas, and other data structures.
Transforms raw data into clean, organized, and analytics-ready datasets using SQL, Python, or other relevant languages.
Implements data transformation workflows to handle data cleansing, normalization, and enrichment.
Works closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand their data needs.
Acts as a liaison between technical teams and business units to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Requirements

5+ years of experience working in Analytics Engineer or relevant
Experience working with SQL and Python
Advanced knowledge of PowerBI (Power Query and DAX)
4+ years of experience with pipeline automation tools (Fivetran would be a plus)
Strong knowledge of DBT or other ELT frameworks/tools (Apache AirFlow).
Strong English communication skills
