Job summary

Firstlead Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a hands-on Farm Supervisor to lead daily farm operations while actively participating in activities such as feeding, planting, harvesting, and animal care.

You will guide farm workers and ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently. The role requires practical expertise in at least one farm specialization and a willingness to work on-site in outdoor environments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on farm experience.
• Ability to supervise and work alongside farm workers.
• Experience in Ruminants/Livestock, Poultry, Crop/Plant Production, or Aquaculture preferred.
• Willingness to perform actual farm work, not only supervise.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee daily farm activities based on the assigned area of specialization
• Directly participate in feeding, cleaning, planting, harvesting, animal care, farm maintenance, or other applicable farm activities
• Monitor the condition, growth, health, production, and overall performance of the farm
• Ensure proper implementation of farm production procedures and schedules
• Operate and properly maintain farm tools, equipment, and facilities
• Supervise and guide farm workers in their daily activities
• Assign tasks and monitor completion and quality of work
• Ensure that farm workers follow proper procedures and schedules
• Maintain accurate records of farm activities, production, inventory, supplies, and other relevant information
• Report production concerns, unusual conditions, losses, or other issues to management

About the role

This is a hands-on position where the Farm Supervisor is expected to lead farm workers while also working alongside them and performing actual farm activities when needed.

About you

• Graduate of Agriculture, Animal Science, Veterinary-related, Fisheries/Aquaculture, Crop Science, Horticulture, or a related field is preferred
• At least 2 years of relevant hands-on farm experience
• Strong practical expertise in at least ONE farm specialization: Ruminants/Livestock, Poultry, Crop/Plant Production, or Aquaculture
• Experience supervising or leading farm workers is an advantage
• Must be willing to perform actual farm work, not only supervise personnel
• Physically capable of working in a farm environment
• Willing to work on-site and perform various farm-related tasks as required
• Responsible, hardworking, practical, and comfortable working in an outdoor/farm environment
