Responsibilities

• Employee Management - Handle recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluations, scheduling of shifts and day offs, and implementation of disciplinary measures when necessary.
• Farm Operations Oversight - Supervise all farming activities, including livestock and crop production. Ensure daily tasks are carried out efficiently and in line with farm goals.
• Plantation Management - Monitor and manage crop cycles, planting schedules, irrigation, pest control, and harvest logistics for various plantations.
• Administrative and File Management - Organize and maintain farm records including employee files, production reports, procurement, and farm logs for auditing and operational tracking.
• Resource Allocation - Oversee the use of farm resources, such as machinery, fertilizers and manpower to optimize output while managing costs.
• Compliance and Biosecurity
• Reporting - Provide regular reports and updates to upper management regarding farm performance, challenges, and improvement plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or related field (preferred but not required with relevant experience)
• Proven experience in farm or agricultural operations management
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Organized, detail-oriented and capable of multi-tasking
• Familiarity with agricultural software or digital record-keeping is a plus
