Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and repair automated nipple drinking lines, pressure regulators, and medicators to ensure equal water distribution to livestock.
• Maintain and repair evaporative cooling pad water systems, high-pressure misting lines, and fogging nozzles used for temperature control.
• Troubleshoot and maintain water pumps, filtration systems, water storage tanks, and chlorination/sanitation systems.
• Maintain high-pressure washing systems, vehicle disinfection baths, and staff shower/sanitation facilities to strictly adhere to biosecurity protocols.
• Ensure proper drainage of wastewater during house washouts to prevent pooling and contamination.

We are looking for a Farm Plumber to join us.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and repair automated nipple drinking lines, pressure regulators, and medicators (dosatrons) to ensure equal water distribution to livestock.

• Maintain and repair evaporative cooling pad water systems, high-pressure misting lines, and fogging nozzles used for temperature control.

• Troubleshoot and maintain water pumps (submersible/jet pumps), filtration systems, water storage tanks, and chlorination/sanitation systems.

• Maintain high-pressure washing systems, vehicle disinfection baths, and staff shower/sanitation facilities to strictly adhere to biosecurity protocols.

• Ensure proper drainage of wastewater during house washouts (between flocks) to prevent pooling and contamination.
