Job summary

Nightowl Consulting in the Philippines is seeking an underwriting compliance analyst to review and ensure adherence to guidelines across Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, Jumbo, and Non-QM mortgage products.

You will serve as a key liaison between Sales, Underwriting, and Investor teams, analyze loan scenarios for proper structuring, provide guidance on products and guidelines, resolve complex issues, and help improve processes while keeping up with changing investor requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review and ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines across all mortgage types (Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, Jumbo, and Non-QM).
• Serve as a key liaison between the Sales, Underwriting, and Investor teams to facilitate smooth communication and timely deal flow.
• Analyze and evaluate loan scenarios to ensure proper structuring and guideline adherence.
• Provide feedback and support to Sales teams on loan products, guidelines, and best practices.
• Assist in the resolution of complex underwriting and loan structuring issues.
• Collaborate with underwriting teams to ensure efficient loan approvals and identify potential areas for process improvement.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in underwriting guidelines, loan programs, and investor requirements.
• Work with investors to ensure accurate and timely submission of loans.
• Track deal performance and ensure all necessary documentation is provided and accurate.
• Address and resolve any post-closing issues that may arise.
