Job summary

Sutherland seeks a reliable Facilities Operations & Maintenance Associate to manage day-to-day facilities activities, supervise contractors, and ensure readiness of the office environment at our Pili, Camarines Sur site. The role includes coordinating with Capacity Planning and maintaining compliance records.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, be licensed, and ready to work extended hours when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.
• Willingness to work extended hours or flexible schedules, as needed.
• Experience supporting facilities operations or site management is preferred.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills are essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day facilities operations including leasehold improvements, equipment upkeep, and site maintenance.
• Ensure functionality and readiness of all office equipment and workspace.
• Conduct regular facility inspections and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Supervise contractors for repairs, pest control, and scheduled maintenance.
• Oversee workspace readiness including seat planning, relocations, and partitions with Capacity Planning.
• Monitor utilities consumption and maintain tracking reports.
• Maintain asset maintenance contracts and service equipment.
• Keep documentation of service reports, contracts and compliance records.
• Support health and safety standards across the site.
• Manage facility-related requests via ticketing systems and SLAs.
• Coordinate project schedules and site build-outs with internal teams.
