About the role

The position is primarily responsible for overseeing the maintenance, operation, and management of the building facilities to ensure that all building's equipment, machineries, and structure are reliable, and in compliance with all applicable code, occupational safety, and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee regular tasks and maintenance programs to ensure the proper functioning of building systems such as air conditioning, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and alarm systems
• Communicate with 3rd party providers that conduct preventive maintenance of various building equipment, including generators, security systems, and other critical infrastructure
• Coordinate the work schedule for repair, maintenance, safety training, and emergency inspection
• Conduct extensive Facilities Condition Assessment and/or Building Audit, adhering with local safety code, regulations, and environmental standards
• Ensure all PMS (Preventive Maintenance Schedule) are completed based on the required schedule
• Lead the implementation of emergency response plans to ensure safety of employees during emergencies
• Recommend energy-efficient practices and technologies to optimize energy consumption and reduce operational costs
• Check and approve proposed plans, quotations, and in-house estimates for repairs and construction
• Monitor the progress and timeline of pre-construction and construction phases of projects
• Evaluate contractors work performance and provide recommendations based on completed projects

About you

• Graduate of Architecture, Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, and other related engineering courses
• At least three (3) years of work-related experience in facilities management
• Knowledge of electrical and plumbing works, architectural fundamentals, CAD and space layout and air-conditioning system
