You will focus on energy efficiency, cost control, and compliance, with responsibilities spanning HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems, while maintaining detailed records and supporting local regulatory inspections.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Three or more years of facilities management or building operations experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC, mechanical equipment, and preventive maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting, coordination, communication, and documentation skills.
• Safety training is preferred.
• Experience with fire protection systems, chillers, or building management systems is advantageous.

About the role

Far Eastern University is seeking a Facilities Engineer in Makati to help keep building systems safe, reliable, and efficient. The role supports building operations through inspections, preventive maintenance, timely repairs, contractor coordination, compliance activities, and practical improvements that enhance reliability, energy efficiency, and operating costs.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect facilities, handle maintenance requests, and coordinate repairs with contractors.
• Maintain and monitor HVAC systems, pumps, motors, and other building equipment.
• Identify building defects and coordinate repairs to structures, finishes, roofs, and drainage systems.
• Monitor electrical installations and arrange safe maintenance with qualified personnel.
• Track the condition of fire and alarm systems, coordinate inspections, and document issues and repairs.
• Check plumbing and water systems for leaks and drainage problems, and coordinate prompt repairs.
• Identify hazards, follow safety procedures, and support emergency response activities.
• Maintain maintenance records, prepare reports, and support required inspections and local compliance.
• Recommend practical repairs and upgrades that improve reliability, energy efficiency, and operating costs.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Licensed Mechanical or Electrical Engineer in the Philippines.
• At least three years of experience in facilities management, building operations, industrial maintenance, or a related field.
• Knowledge of HVAC, mechanical equipment, building systems, and preventive maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting, coordination, communication, and documentation skills.
• Occupational safety training is an advantage.
• Experience with fire protection systems, chillers, or building management systems is an advantage.
