Job summary

Ibex Limited in the Philippines is looking for a Facilities Engineer to oversee maintenance of electrical, plumbing, ventilation, and other building systems within company facilities. You will evaluate systems, determine required installations or repairs, manage a budget, and create calculations to improve operational efficiencies.

The role requires a college degree in engineering or related field and at least 1 year of facilities or maintenance engineering experience.

Qualifications

• College degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as Facilities or Maintenance Engineer/Assistant.
• Knowledge of technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices.
• Knowledge of Safety and Risk Management Procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provides full assistance to Facilities Supervisor and/or Manager.
• Provides 24/7 technical support (shifting) for Ibex facilities and properties.
• Inspects all equipment including critical environment regularly.
• Oversees and handles outsourced housekeeping and technical staff.
• Handles utilities operational and monitoring.
• Responds to client technical concerns such as repairs and troubleshooting.
• Spearheads maintenance team in facility checks and repair works.
• Maintains or helps maintain an efficient accident record system and coordinates actions taken by supervisors.
• Assists government agencies in building safety inspections and compliance programs.
