Job summary

Testech Inc is seeking a Facilities Engineer to oversee the operation and maintenance of all facility assets including buildings, electrical systems, HVAC, fire protection, conveyors, and related equipment. You will support Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection functions.

You will ensure economical department performance, drive continuous improvement, lead facility staff, monitor equipment parameters and utility costs, and oversee subcontractors to secure the best deals

Qualifications

• Engineering graduate with electrical or mechanical focus and license preferred.
• Knowledge of repair and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Understanding of electrical and mechanical construction and maintenance practices.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance principles and objectives.
• Ability to diagnose system faults using testing devices.
• Proficient with hand and power tools; able to read electrical/mechanical plans.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the departments are functioning economically
• Ensure continuous improvement in facility department
• Motivate Facility staff to achieve the department objectives
• Monitor and review facilities equipment parameter and utilities cost
• Participate in selection, assessment and approval of subcontractors and vendors to negotiate the best deal
• Champion in housekeeping and safety
• Prepare KPI Report, Weekly and Monthly reports
