Job summary

Capitol Steel Corporation in the Philippines seeks a Facilities Architect to plan, design, and maintain company facilities and infrastructure projects. You will ensure safety, cost-efficiency, and regulatory compliance while coordinating with contractors and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality, sustainable facilities.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Architecture and 4+ years of relevant experience; licensure is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture required; 4+ years in architectural design, facility planning, construction, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction standards.
• Proficient in preparing and reviewing technical drawings, plans, and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review architectural and engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee construction, renovation, retrofitting, and facility improvement projects.
• Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor project progress to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with design standards.
• Optimize facility layouts and space utilization to support operational efficiency and business requirements.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability initiatives.

What you’ll do

The Facilities Architect is responsible for the planning, design, development, and maintenance of company facilities and infrastructure projects. This role ensures that all facility-related projects are functional, safe, cost-efficient, and compliant with applicable standards and regulations.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.
• Preferably a Licensed Architect, but not required.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in architectural design, facility planning, construction, or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledgeable in building codes, safety regulations, and construction standards.
• Proficient in preparing and reviewing technical drawings, plans, and project documentation.
• Strong project coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in facility management, renovation, or industrial projects is an advantage.
