Job summary

Ace Tech Electronics Corp is seeking a Fabricator to join our Paranaque site, working on battery pack enclosures, module frames and cell fixtures for EV applications. The role involves welding, metal fabrication and mechanical assembly with strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of experience, a high school level or technical diploma, and holds an SMAW NC II certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Vocational qualification.
• Technical Diploma in Welding, Fabrication, or related field.
• NC II SMAW certification is required.
• Experience in metal fabrication, welding and mechanical assembly.
• Experience in battery pack fabrication or EV assembly is an advantage.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings and sketches.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate battery pack enclosures, trays, module frames and mounting brackets per engineering drawings.
• Perform SMAW and other fabrication processes as required.
• Assemble battery cells and modules per approved instructions.
• Install cell holders, busbars, insulation and mechanical supports.
• Cut, grind, drill, bend and finish metal components with fabrication equipment.
• Read and interpret fabrication and mechanical drawings and specs.
• Ensure alignment and structural integrity of fabricated parts.
• Assist in battery pack assembly, repair, refurbishment and cell replacement activities.
• Operate welding machines, grinders, drills and cutting equipment safely.
• Inspect parts for dimensional accuracy and weld quality.
• Perform minor repairs to battery pack housings and structures.
• Maintain clean and organized tools and work areas.
• Follow safety procedures around lithium-ion components.
• Coordinate with engineers and technicians on fabrication requirements.

Job Summary

The Fabricator is responsible for the fabrication, assembly, modification, and repair of battery pack enclosures, battery module frames, and cell fixtures for electric vehicles. The role involves welding, metal fabrication, battery cell mounting, and mechanical assembly while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate battery pack enclosures, battery trays, module frames, and mounting brackets based on engineering drawings.
• Perform Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) and other fabrication processes as required.
• Assemble battery cells and modules according to approved work instructions.
• Install cell holders, busbars, insulation materials, and mechanical supports.
• Cut, grind, drill, bend, and finish metal components using fabrication equipment.
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings, mechanical drawings, and technical specifications.
• Ensure proper alignment, dimensions, and structural integrity of fabricated components.
• Assist in battery pack assembly, repair, refurbishment, and cell replacement activities.
• Operate fabrication tools and machinery safely, including welding machines, grinders, drills, and cutting equipment.

• Experience in battery pack fabrication or electric vehicle assembly is an advantage.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings and engineering sketches.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials.
