Job summary

JSBP Construkt Incorporated is seeking a Welder/Fabricator for on-site work in Quezon City. The role involves welding, cutting, fabrication, and installation of steel structures and metal components for construction projects.

You will ensure materials meet specifications, quality standards, and safety rules. Responsibilities include reading drawings, aligning and welding parts, inspecting welds, and coordinating with engineers and supervisors to complete tasks on schedule.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of welding and fabrication experience.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding using SMAW, MIG, TIG or other methods.
• Fabricate, assemble, and install steel components per drawings.
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings and specs.
• Measure, cut, bend, and shape metal accurately.
• Inspect welds and fabricated components for quality.
• Repair defective welds and perform rework when needed.
• Operate welding machines and fabrication tools safely.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Comply with safety policies and site regulations.
• Coordinate with supervisors and engineers to meet deadlines.

The Welder/Fabricator is responsible for performing welding, cutting, and fabrication works for steel structures, frames, supports, and other metal components required for construction projects. The role ensures that all fabricated and welded materials meet project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding works using appropriate welding techniques and equipment such as SMAW, MIG, TIG, or other applicable methods.
• Fabricate, assemble, and install steel structures, supports, frames, brackets, and metal components according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Measure, cut, bend, and shape metal materials accurately using fabrication tools and equipment.
• Conduct fit-up and alignment of steel members prior to welding and installation.
• Inspect welds and fabricated components to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with project requirements.
• Repair defective welds and perform rework when necessary.
• Operate and maintain welding machines, cutting equipment, grinders, and other fabrication tools safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades to ensure timely completion of work activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment.
• Strictly comply with company safety policies and site safety regulations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
