John Clements Consultants, Inc. is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Equipment Engineer for on-site Capas, Tarlac. The role requires hands-on maintenance, setup, and optimization of production equipment in a startup-like manufacturing environment.
The candidate should have extensive experience with automated and pneumatic equipment, tooling, and process improvements, and be willing to travel within Asia for training and collaboration.

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday / Day Shift
Location: Capas, Tarlac
Set up, calibrate, and verify production equipment, tooling, jigs, and fixtures, including machine changeovers and configurations.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair to minimize equipment downtime.
Support equipment installation, commissioning, validation, capability studies, and production readiness activities.
Provide technical support and training to production operators on equipment operation and basic troubleshooting.
Maintain and improve equipment, tooling, jigs, and fixtures to enhance production quality, efficiency, and reliability.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for equipment and production issues.
Maintain maintenance records, downtime reports, repair history, and other technical documentation.
Support Lean Manufacturing, 5S, safety, quality audits, LOTO, and machine guarding requirements.
Coordinate with equipment suppliers and technical partners for installation, troubleshooting, repairs, and technical support.
Support factory startup activities, process improvements, and other manufacturing projects as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, production equipment, or equipment maintenance.
Experience in connector manufacturing, wire harness, cable assembly, or similar manufacturing environments is preferred.
Hands-on experience with pneumatic assembly equipment, inkjet marking machines, vibratory bowl feeders, label printers, punch press cutting equipment, and automatic film sealing machines.
Strong knowledge of equipment setup, troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance, and machine changeovers.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and work instructions.
Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, LOTO, and machine safety.
Strong hands-on technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Willing to undergo training in Mainland China and travel within Asia as required.
Comfortable working in a startup manufacturing environment with evolving processes.
