Job summary

Risewave Consulting, Inc. is seeking experienced External Audit professionals to join our Assurance team supporting local and global clients across industries, including Financial Services and Asset Management.

The role is based in Taguig City with Cebu City availability for associate levels, and a hybrid work setup with rotational/flexible shifts (no graveyard shifts). You will lead external audit engagements, review workpapers for quality and timeliness, and coordinate with global teams while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA is required.
• Audit Associate / Senior Associate: 3.5+ years external audit experience.
• Assistant Manager: 4–5+ years external audit with at least 1 year leadership/supervisory experience.
• Manager: 5+ years external audit/assurance with engagement and team leadership.
• Senior Manager: 10+ years assurance with people leadership and client management.
• Experience from a local or international audit firm; Big 6 experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of PFRS/IFRS and auditing standards.
• Strong analytical, communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
• Financial Services or Asset Management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform and manage external audit engagements per applicable standards.
• Review financial information, audit procedures, and workpapers for quality and timeliness.
• Coordinate with global engagement teams and manage engagement requirements and resources.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members, monitoring performance and deliverables.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, engagement teams, and stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve audit processes and standardize practices.
• For Manager roles, oversee engagement teams and support people development, risk management, and client relationships.
