Job summary

Risewave Consulting Inc. is seeking experienced External Audit professionals to join our Assurance team. You will support local and global clients across Financial Services and Asset Management in a hybrid setup at Taguig City and Cebu City (associate level Cebu).

You will perform external audit engagements, review procedures and workpapers, and coordinate with global teams to ensure quality, timely delivery. CPA is required and leadership opportunities exist at Manager levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA is required.
• Audit Associate / Senior Associate: 3.5+ years of external audit experience.
• Assistant Manager: 4–5+ years external audit, with 1 year leadership.
• Manager: 5+ years external audit/assurance with leadership.

About the Role: We are looking for an experienced ExternalAudit professionals to join our Assurance team supporting local and global clients across various industries, including Financial Services and Asset Management.

Location: Taguig City and Cebu City (Note: Cebu Location is only open to associate levels)

Work Setup: Hybrid Setup

Work Shift: Rotational/Flexible Shift (Note: No graveyard shift)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and manage external audit and assurance engagements in accordance with applicable accounting and auditing standards.
• Review financial information, audit procedures, and workpapers to ensure quality, accuracy, and timely delivery.
• Coordinate with global engagement teams and effectively manage engagement requirements, timelines, and resources.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members while monitoring performance and deliverables.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, engagement teams, and global stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve audit processes, standardize practices, and enhance service quality.
• For Manager-level roles, oversee engagement teams and support people development, risk management, and client relationship management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA required
• Audit Associate / Senior Associate: 3.5+ years of relevant external audit experience
• Assistant Manager: 4–5+ years of external audit experience, with at least 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience
• Manager: 5+ years of relevant external audit/assurance experience, with demonstrated engagement and team leadership experience
• Senior Manager: 10+ years of relevant assurance experience, with strong people leadership, client management, and engagement oversight experience
• Experience from a local or international audit firm; Big 6 experience highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of PFRS/IFRS and auditing standards
• Strong analytical, communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills
• Financial Services or Asset Management experience is an advantage
