Job summary

HRTX in Makati, Philippines, seeks an external audit professional for a full-time onsite role for 6 months. You will perform audits, prepare workpapers, and coordinate with international clients across industries, utilizing CaseWare to document procedures and findings.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy; CPA is an advantage and experience with PFRS/IFRS is preferred. Strong communication and client management skills are a plus for the role.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Perform external audit engagements, including compilations, reviews, and other audit-related procedures for international clients across various industries.
• Prepare, review, and finalize audit workpapers while ensuring accuracy, compliance with relevant accounting and auditing standards, and timely completion of deliverables.
• Collaborate with engagement teams and international clients to gather necessary information, discuss audit matters, and maintain clear and effective communication throughout the audit process.
• Apply audit methodologies, tools, and software (including CaseWare) to properly document audit procedures, findings, and conclusions while maintaining audit quality and accuracy.
• Support end-to-end audit engagements by identifying risks, resolving audit issues, and ensuring compliance with professional standards and quality requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or related field; CPA qualification is an advantage.
• Experience in external audit engagements, including financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations.
• Knowledge of accounting and auditing standards, including PFRS and/or IFRS.
• Ability to analyze financial data, prepare audit documentation, and manage audit tasks independently.
