Job summary

Our Clients in Makati is seeking an External Auditor to join our audit team for a six-month onsite assignment. You will handle engagements, prepare working papers, and coordinate with international clients to ensure timely deliverables.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, at least 2 years of external audit experience, and knowledge of PFRS/IFRS. CPA is an advantage and CaseWare experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or related field; CPA is an advantage.
• At least 2 years of experience in external audit.
• Knowledge of PFRS and IFRS.

Responsibilities

• Handle external audit engagements including financial statement audits, reviews, compilations, and other assurance procedures for international clients across various industries.
• Prepare and review audit working papers, ensuring accuracy, compliance with applicable accounting and auditing standards, and timely completion of deliverables.
• Coordinate with engagement teams and international clients to gather required information, address audit queries, discuss findings, and maintain clear communication throughout the engagement.
• Apply audit methodologies, tools, and software such as CaseWare to properly document audit procedures, findings, and conclusions while maintaining audit quality.
• Support engagements from planning through completion by evaluating risks, resolving audit issues, and ensuring compliance with professional and quality standards.
